“Nice hotel if you are passing through”
Reviewed March 31, 2013 via mobile

I had business in Hanover and got a room here for the night. I'm glad I did... Very convenient, clean and quiet. I arrived late and they went out of their way to keep the Bistro open, (I really needed a beer after that ride,) and make me something to eat. The staff really get business travelers.

Stayed her for a weekend vacation and was not pleased with the stay. I'm a Marriott Platinum Rewards member. A lot of patrons had free breakfast tickets but I was not offered this? I checked in paying full price since they said they didn't have any rooms available to pay with points. I also checked in with 4 in the room but did not have enough towels or washcloths for the family. Truly disappointing to be treated this way. Courtyards are usually better than this

This is another faceless Marriott in the middle of Americana. If you have ever been anywhere, staying at any place, you know what I mean. The difference is the staff. You leave big city stress, and meet local folks disarming smile and kind interest in building conversation. They are nice people who bring soul to an otherwise soulless chapter of your life. Talk to local folks: it will make your overall experience much better. And Kudos to Kamera- that's her name. Nice staff member.

Stayed at this Hotel for 2 nights while my Daughter checked out grad Schools. Nice enough hotel, seems about 10 years old. This Courtyard does still have a Breakfast Buffet which was included in our rate. Actually got my eggs cooked to order which used to be the norm at these but recent tend in Courtyards that are new or renovated is they have an awfull concept called the Bistro. (Which is polite for expensive microwaved food.) One downside..and I think related to the age was that the elevators wer both out of order for the better part of the day for one day of our stay. This presented a problem to me since I have a bad knee which makes climing stairs almost impossible. I complained because one of the elevators was out due to replacing the floor tiles. I was told that they went ahead with this because they were lightly booked and then the other elevator broke. I felt this was a little insulting since no mention of this was on hotel web site when I booked ( Most Marriott Brands do post this kind of Info on their Hotel page), and no discounts seemed to be in effect. They did reduce our rate for the day the elevator was out so the inconvenience was accounted for. There are some things beyond the control of this hotel that you may want to consider. This hotel is a bit outside of town and the three nearest sit down restaurants all seem to be out of business, so do come prepared to travel for meals and to the Battlefield Attractions etc. Would probably stay again though, as long as they still have a real breakfast buffet.

We stayed here on a recent vacation. It's nice. Next time, though, I might stay closer to the historic downtown area. Nice, tho. Very nice bartender. Young guy with a Gettysburg-worthy handle bar mustache.

Room Tip: If you think you'll eat the breakfast, buy it when you reserve the room. It's way cheaper th...

We stayed at this hotel to be close to Ski Liberty. The hotel was clean and had all the great amenities you expect from a Courtyard. The staff was friendly had helped us check in early and deal with leaving items in the room after check-out. They even easily switched our room to a double queen from a king since we had the kids with us.

Room Tip: All the rooms are nice.

Stayed her for a night in Jan 2013 with family (2 kids) while skiing at the nearby Liberty Mountain. Good, clean and typical Courtyard - consistent with what we would have expected. Great location - just off the highway, very close to the Premium outlets and 15 minutes away from Liberty Mountain. Much better than staying at the lodge on Liberty Mountain itself. Decent breakfast in the morning and friendly staff.
