Great atmosphere! We had dinner at the bar...huge portions of good food! After the tour, we had coffee and dessert. The wait staff was great and the entertainment superb!

“Great Bar & Pub Food! Great Location Too!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 11, 2012

During our Annual July 4th Reenactment trip in Gettysburg, a group of us ( 5 people) stopped in O'rorke's for a late nite dinner. Walking past the Bar area, O'rorke's has a room/seating area in back with very large booths. Better than average pub style food at very fair prices for a tourist area. Great (large) Burgers & fries. Some of the other food, as well as the changing dinner specials are hit or miss, some are great, others are just OK, as we have eaten here many times and tried many different items on their menu. Entertainment/bands also make this a lively bar atmosphere. On the nite we were there all the food was served hot & fresh, and the waitress was very friendly and polite while providing us speedy service! Everyone in our party agreed that we would return again! Great Location in Gettysburg, walking distance to & from most motels Overall Rating ~ Good !

“Good food. Inexpensive cost.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2012

In early October of 2012 we were in the National Park until dark. Then we hunted a motel room for the night, settling in at the Travel Lodge. When asked about an eatery, the desk clerk told us her favorite place was just next door, so we walked over to O'Rorke's Tavern. It had the pleasant atmosphere of a homey pub, and the food was surprisingly good. My husband was happy with the Harp on tap, and ordered the prime rib special (only $10.99!). I believe they have a nightly special, and he lucked out on the prime rib, which he really enjoyed, along with his baked potato and salad. Couldn't beat the price. Not bing a beef person, I enjoyed a delicious Reuben sandwich. Would highly recommend this place. It's unpretentious and just what we needed after a day in the park!
