I reviewed the Inn in a separate entry and I've dined at the restaurant twice. Having been to Gettysburg many many times, I can say that this is the best dining you will find here. Yes, it is fine dining and if you're accustomed to quality food and service, this is a must visit.
I live in the NY Metro area where great food is abundant, and have eaten in top restaurants throughout the US and Europe. Their winelist is extensive and well organized with obscure regions and grapes available. There are many, many to choose from and price points to fit any budget.
The menu has fare to please any palette. Short ribs, steak, lamb, tenderloin of pork, fish all beautifully presented and delicious. Be prepared to be wowed in Gettysburg.
