The Inn at Herr Ridge aims to please. Two couples had a wonderful dinner in this lovely historic area. Each of us enjoyed our meals to varying degrees. There's a limited, but excellent menu. The extensive wine list far exceeds the food selection. Expect to pay more than you should for the wine.
The white beet salad was was fabulous as was the scallops/shrimp dish. The pork chop was prepared to perfection. I was disappointed with the soft shelled crab (my first time), but maybe I am unqualified to judge. We ate at another well rated restaurant our secomd night in Gettysburg, and there was no comparison....the price difference is a factor, but if you have a palate for good food, enjoy a lovely ambience, consider this restaurant..
