We passed through Gettysburg on a business trip and found Dobbins House on Trip Advisor. What a great stop. We ate in the Springhill Tavern part with its stone walls, candlelight, and servers in period dress. We split an Adam's Delight appetizer plate which had oranges, apples, grapes pineapple, melon, fruit dip, two small skewers of cheese and two very generous slices of some kind of sweet bread and cream cheese. It was just right for two. We both ordered the crab cake dinner and had two nice-sized cakes, baked potato and salad. We skipped dessert but the gentleman at the table next to us had something with hot fudge that smelled decadent. Our server was professional and very pleasant. The dining room is small and people are packed elbow to elbow at small tables, but no one seemed to mind. We visited a bit with the people on either side and we admired their meals as they did ours. A very nice meal and a place I'd recommend and visit again.
