While staying in Gettysburg, we were wondering what to do in regards to dinner on that evening.
We had already booked our "Ghost Tour" so thought we would just head into town and find somewhere to eat before the commencement of the tour. The Avenue was just down the road a little from the tour company, and the menu sounded interesting.
This place is set out like a diner in many ways. Simple, a little cramped, but the atmosphere was great.
Some interesting food choices on the menu, and large servings of pretty good tasting food. We were quite surprised and a little perplexed as both chocolate pudding and tapioca pudding were available as sides to the main dish - talk about interesting.
Definitely worth a look in if you are after something quick, tasty, simple and with great friendly service.
