Description: With a focus on simple ingredients, Chef Annis’ menu features small, elegant bites with sophisticated flavor. The menu, inspired by fresh, local ingredients, will change on a daily basis and has been designed to include a variety of small plates rather than the multi-course offerings of sister establishment, Restaurant Sidney in East Berlin. An extensive selection of liquor, beer, wine and cordials invites guests to relax in an urban contemporary atmosphere. The expansive outdoor seating area offers a serene experience with views of the battlefield land preserved by the National Park Service.

“Unique and Exceptional”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 10, 2013 via mobile

Breakaway from the ordinary and visit Sidney at Willoughby Run. The menu is a refreshing change to the ordinary and the taste and quality are second to none. Choose your atmosphere from a dining room with a fireplace or a small quaint tavern room. Servers are excellent with knowledge of the foods and the beverage menu is just as unique as the menu. The prices are typically in the 16 to 22.00 range but these are for small plates. It is worth the visit. Enjoy.

“Gettysburg's best kept secret......”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 27, 2012

The food here is so GOOD!!! Very classy atmosphere, it's in a renovated country club with beautiful views and fire places. The staff is very polite and accomodating. The food is really good and it's something different for the central PA area. It is a little pricey, but not outrageous considering the high quality. If you like chain restuarants, have small children (no kids menu here), or want to see people dressed in Civil War outfits then go somewhere else. If you want to have a special night out for a date or an upscale family or friend get together, then this is the place.

“A standout in Gettysburg”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

Neil Annis focuses on smaller plates at his restaurant in Gettysburg. This is a great advantage because it provides lots of opportunities to try different tastes. I have been uniformly impressed with the food and the service here. The menu changes often and the bartenders are always trying out new things. Many of the restaurants in Gettysburg (although by no means all) have a Civil War theme that is just annoying after a little while. This is an outstanding restaurant where you don't have to worry about your food being battle-themed.

“The special place to go in Gettysburg”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 13, 2012

I go to SWR regularly (every other week), just to relax, eat and drink well. It is not a place to go to eat lots of food. It's a place where you slow down, savor every bite, and feel like you have experienced something unique. Dishes come and go, and it is a little sad to see some more unique dishes (the chicken veloute with sweetbreads was outstanding) disappear. But I love that Chef is always experimenting. The service is good and relaxed. The wine and spirits selection is wonderful. I also enjoy outside sitting and can't wait for spring.

“Great Small Plates Restaurant”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2012

We made reservations on Friday night of Parents Weekend at Gettysburg College. I am a bit hesitant to share my experience because it is tough to find real quality food in Gettysburg and I wouldn't "want to let the cat out of the bag" but this is a great place. Formerly, the Gettysburg Country Club's club house this small plates fare restaurant was excellent. We had a large party(10+) and the service was great. Food was fresh, well presented and priced correctly at a prices from $8 to $14 a plate. The menu changes regularly . Will definitely go back .
