Traveling from North Carolina to Gettysburg nearly every year means going to the same old places for a good meal gets old. That's why my family decided that this trip we would try some new places to eat. Trip advisor led us to Luke's American Grille which had nothing but great things to say about it. And quite frankly after eating here it's easy to see why. Set up like a small 50s diner the atmosphere is spot on and the cleanliness is an A++. The service was fast and friendly and from what I could tell the food was homemade. The food was delicious. I had a cheesesteak and my mother had a cheeseburger that she claims was the best of her life. My father had an Italian sausage sub that reminded him of his childhood in New York. Doughnuts are made fresh here daily as well. The place is fairly new and it will be a crying shame if this place closes. This is one of Gettysburg's best restaurants. Well worth the visit.
