If you got a few extra bucks you can get yourself a piece of history at a reasonable price. Lots of rooms to look at and filled with our history!

“Best Place For War Relics in Gettysburg”
Reviewed July 7, 2014

This was the best shop I found in Gettysburg for Civil War Relics. They have material from all major wars and time periods. They also have a good selection of items that range from inexpensive ($20 mini balls from The Angle area of Pickett's Charge) to uniforms worth many thousands of dollars)

“Huge Inventory of Civil War Memorabilia”
Reviewed July 1, 2014

Ordered an original picture of my great grandfather by mail. Found it through MyHeritage.com records search. Came in good order. Rather expensive, but if your family tree includes Civil War Veterans, there is probably something here that relates directly to them. So if you want something original from you families past, this may be the place to get some authentic memorabilia. They even sent a little extra information about my Great Grandfather that I had never seen before.

“Worth a Visit!”
Reviewed June 30, 2014

This place has a great selection of real Civil War and historical artifacts and artwork. The merchandise is expensive but you are getting the "real thing" from a reputable, honest place. There are a lot of fakes out there but the Horse Soldier doesn't deal in such scams.

“Expert advice and great staff”
Reviewed June 10, 2014

This business is not necessarily for your average tourist. They buy, appraise and sell original period weapons, documents, books, and everything from surgeon's kits to musical instruments. This stuff is the real deal. If you are looking for a souvenir go else ware. of you are looking for an authentic bayonet for that original 1842 Springfield musket you have - THIS is the place to go. Their web site is likewise a real resource for the serious collector. A staple in Gtown since I can remember (and I am 50)!
