We went to Sachs Bridge with our guide Miss Betty. It is quite beautiful but there was a group of teenagers huddled in the center loudly discussing some "inappropriate" topics as my children shared. As a result, we did not stay long. I think if they would not have been there it would have been a completely different, much better experience.

I always go to Sachs bridge every time I visit Gettysburg. I enjoy the peaceful beauty of the bridge and the area around it. Make sure you take a walk down stream to enjoy the sights and sounds of the area. It's worth the extra walk. Also enjoyed doing a little ghost hunting at night in the bridge. Got some really cool pictures. Make sure to take a camera with a good flash.

Such a pretty little bridge. This would be a great spot for a family picnic, or a walk through the woods. When we were there it was cold and misty, so we didn't stay long, but would have loved to return with nicer weather. As it was, we got some nice photos here. This would also be a nice portrait spot in the fall. Bring a tripod and take your Christmas card picture here. From The Lodges, turn right on Camp Gettysburg Rd, then right on Scott. The turnoff for the bridge is right before the pumping station and Marsh Creek. It isn't well marked, but is worth the effort to find it.

It is a wonderful place to enjoy nature, untill the spook hunters show up. The day time is the best, less people. Do not let any one tell you that you can only get to Sachs Bridge with their spook tour... not true

Nice covered bridge. It was a quiet place, not much else to do but look at it, walk across it, and then leave.
