Description: Mr. G's Ice Cream is located in the historic John Winebrenner house in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. Battle scarred by bullets on the south side of the building and reportedly haunted by spirits of the past, Mr. G's offers delicious homemade and soft serve ice cream. Stop in and try one of our homemade waffle cones and enjoy the ambience of this historic Gettysburg building

We stopped by on a Thursday evening because we had heard that this place had the best ice cream in Gettysburg! Wow, were we glad we stopped! For $3.15 you can get a single scoop cone, however, the single scoop amount would be a double scoop anywhere else. It is more than enough for most people! They had great flavors and we tried the coffee cookies and cream, red velvet, and chocolate peanut butter. Service was fast as well. If we are ever back in Gettysburg we will definitely stop in again!

They offer several different flavors of good ice cream and have a cool outdoor seating area with nice, big, shady trees and lawn games. Be prepared to wait in line, but they keep it moving.

Mr. G's has been our favorite ice cream place since they were located on Rt 30. The homemade ice cream is the best and their sundaes are amazing too. Highly recommended!

Our tour guy recommended this ice cream parlor so we decided that give it a try. The scoops were huge, the ice cream homemade and amazing! The ice cream parlor is in a cute old house! A must place to visit after a day of learning!
