Description: Mr. G's Ice Cream is located in the historic John Winebrenner house in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. Battle scarred by bullets on the south side of the building and reportedly haunted by spirits of the past, Mr. G's offers delicious homemade and soft serve ice cream. Stop in and try one of our homemade waffle cones and enjoy the ambience of this historic Gettysburg building

This ice cream was to die for. The single scoop is really 2 scoops! I had the fresh peach--so good--and my husband had the dreamsicle flavored ice cream. We were both in heaven. What made it that much more special is that this building is one of the few that maintains it architectural integrity from the Battle of Gettysburg period. You can still see the bullet holes along the side of the building. Definitely worth a stop.

Stopped in based on TripAdvisor and it did not disspoint. Actually spoke to Mr. G who takes great pride in restoring the 1863 house that has bullet slugs in the building. Went back a second time for the huge ice cream the next day for their signature salted caramel waffle cone. Delicious!

Stopped in at least twice this last trip. They have both hard ice cream and soft serve, as well as a number of toppings to fit your fancy. The soft serve is excellent, very creamy. A great alternative to Rita's

This ice cream is some of the best. We asked for one scoop and wow! That one scoop was the equivalent to most places two scoop version. The store was clean and the service was very friendly and fast. We will return.

Fun stop after a ghost walk. Quick service and neat to just relax with a cone and a gift store. Cool to see some classic pics as well on the wall.
