Description: Mr. G's Ice Cream is located in the historic John Winebrenner house in Gettysburg Pennsylvania. Battle scarred by bullets on the south side of the building and reportedly haunted by spirits of the past, Mr. G's offers delicious homemade and soft serve ice cream. Stop in and try one of our homemade waffle cones and enjoy the ambience of this historic Gettysburg building

We discovered Mr. G's while waiting for our Ghost Walk to begin. The pumpkin ice cream tasted exactly like pumpkin pie. THE VERY BEST pumpkin ice cream I have ever had. Large portions. Can't wait to try the coconut next time. The building is supposedly inhabited by ghosts upstairs, incidentally.

When reviewing TripAdvisor for a trip to Gettysburg, I was surprised to see an ice cream parlor listed as the reviewers favorite. Our visit to Mr. G's was great fun. I selected homemade pumpkin ice cream with hot apple spice topping. It was wonderful. Located on Baltimore St. just past the Gettysburg museum and on the way to the Natl. battlefield makes for a convenient stop. Building, historic with nice display of its past. Staff, friendly and helpful. Many locals with great stories of Gettysburg. Returned on our second day after touring the battlefield for a pick me up. Great place!

We went and the girls behind the counter were both friendly and offered us tastes. We ended up with Mocha Fudge and Black Raspberry and both were good.
