This is one of the few places in downtown Gettysburg that does not charge an entrance fee. It is a great example of how communities can work together to save important historical sites. If you are a railroad buff, you might spend more time here, but you really can add the spot where Lincoln came to town to your visit with 10 minutes or less. If you really enjoy this type of history, speak to the person at the desk. They were extremely informative, very friendly and gave some neat insight to the restoration.
