“Nice base for Gettysburg”

Clean hotel in a good location. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. TGIFridays next door for a decent dinner. Walking distance to outlet mall. Always cookies, fruit and fresh coffee in the lobby. Good value.

Nice lobby, reasonably maintained place that's been here for a while, some areas are showing wear and a few things need to be replaced. Older style TV. Room had a table with two chairs, something we don't see in every room. Room clean, bed was okay, good combo hot-cold breakfast options. Adjacent to an outlet mall. Convenient to everything in Gettysburg. Three miles from the Battlefield Visitor Center. Would stay here again.

Wife and I had a nice week . Stayed here for a couple of days . The staff was great . The breakfast good as always . The Outlet Mall thats adjacent gives you something to do between the historic tours of the area .
Few complaints , so minor I won't even mention any.

Room Tip: The odd number rooms by the shopping side might be more quiet . We were on 3rd floor and awoke early...

we stayed at Country Inn and suites after driving for many hours and could go no further.I feel we were overcharged for our room,we did not have reservations.The room was average,had an old school TV.Beds were comfortable but the comforter/bedspread was very heavy and the only source of a blanket.I always throw the bedspread off hotel beds.If I did that on this bed,would have been left with a sheet.Also the bathroom wasn't nice,the sink was cracked and the tub was so worn on the bottom,none of us wanted to take a shower,plus the toilet was so far away from the sink where the t.p. was located,if you didn't get your t.p. before, you couldn't reach it.The best part of this stay was the continental breakfast it was excellent!!!!

Furniture in room was a little worn. We just stayed at the same hotel in Williamsburg which had really nice furniture so that's why we noticed. The bathroom wasn't as nice either. The chocolate chip cookies were really good. I was a little disappointed that we didn't get our gift for being a gold elite member but the girl at the front desk was very good about putting a gift together for me. She said they just started to do that so that's why they didn't really have a set gift set up.

The best part about this hotel was the breakfast. They had two waffle makers which was really nice so there wasn't a super long line. They also had good hot choices such as potatoes and sausages. There was an elderly lady who got you whatever you needed and kept the dining room clean.

I would definitely stay here again if we ever go back to Gettysburg.

We stayed in a suite with 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa. Very nice room. Beds were very comfortable. Comforters were pretty and substantial, not like the thin, barely there, bedspreads that you see in some hotels. Nice quality to to the furnishings. Breakfast was good and included eggs, sausage, and waffles in addition to danishes, instant oatmeal, fruit salad, and cold cereals. It is also served on real plates, which is a nice touch. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We had our dog along and felt very welcome. There is a field beside the hotel that is nice for walking the dog. The location is very easy to find from the interstate and a very short and easy drive to the battlefield museum or downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel put a $60.00 extra hold on my account for a pet fee, and we did not have pets. It took an act of congress to get the hold released. The room and the free breakfast was excellent! I would stay here again.
