We read about the studio on tripadvisor and walked in one day for a photo session. What a kick! Wonderful husband and wife running the shop, and very prfessional. Large selection of costumes. This is a great place to make and bring home a keepsake photo.

Myself and a group of my friends went to Gettysburg to just sight see and spend some time exploring. One of my friends had scheduled an appointment for the Victorian Photography Studio.

We had a great time! Tish and Dell were great! Friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and very warm. I felt welcomed the second we walked in! You can tell Tish really loves what she does! The whole time she was dressing us, she was answering all of my questions about the clothing of that time period, which was really nice.

We decided to do the digital print, but Tish was showing us wet plate type photos and explaining it to us, which was super cool.

The photo came out great, and the price was super reasonable!

I would highly recommend doing this if you're in the area!

We had a great time with Del/Tish. I have an 8, 6, and 4 year old that enjoyed the entire process from beginning to end. It was exactly what we expected and more. This isn't one of those cheesy amusement park "old time" photos. This is a legit, exactly how they did it in the past process. The camera we used dated back to 1863 and the picture looks incredibly authentic. Take the time to do this, and you will not be disappointed. (go with the wet plate option....nothing compares to it)

Within 3 minutes of us stepping in the door, we felt like we know the owners for years. Not only are they easy to work with, but they went above and beyond by dressing my husband up in a dress and taking a photo for a bet he loss. Stopping by Victorian Photography Studio will ALWAYS be a MUST do when we come back to Gettysburg. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the wonderful memories!

Tish and Del were wonderful and explained everything in detail. It was fun dressing up in a period costume and having a different hairdo of the time. Not having to remove your clothes was a plus as the costumes just slipped over what you had on. We had the tin plate done and we were completely happy with the results. Who are these people? We did not recognize ourselves.
