We were there to have a personal guide drive us thru the battlefield. We had 1/12 hours to kill, so bought a ticket for the Cyclorama and Museum. What a wonderful experience. First you see a very well made short movie then step up to the Cyclorama. We didn't know what to expect. It's a round beautifully painting of the battlefield. When they turn out the lights the fighting starts and the areas that are in battle light up and have smoke along with the sound. Closer to our stage area they placed real wagon wheels, boulders, etc to enhance your experience. It really feels like your overlooking the battle. This is a new addition to the center. Sorry we didn't have time to visit the museum but heard great things about it. The personal driver thru the battle field was awesome. I would stay in the area an extra day just to see everything next time. We missed walking and shopping in the downtown area. It really had alot of shops and antiques. Note: You won't be able to take flash pictures in the Cyclorama.
