It's convenient and free. A quick walk through will do at this private museum which is loaded with bullets, uniforms, muskets etc.

Museum is in a historical building in a quaint area with other museums. It's Free, has 5 rooms with artifacts and Tons of Civil War History. It's more then a Gettysburg museum. There's WWI and WWII galore, and presidential signatures and an entire room dedicated to John F. Kennedy with some funny/personal notes to and from JFK. This was a must see for my husband and I as we also love the AMERICAN PICKERS Frank and Mike made a special purchase for the museum. The owner is friendly and has a true love of the things in his collection. We ended our trip to Gettysburg here and it was the Cherry on top of a WOW two days.

Really glad we found this museum during our visit to Gettysburg. It was so cool to see all of the artifacts from the battle. My son also liked the museum as it gave him a perspective on the battle and it was neat to see the JFK room as well. Would definitely go back.

We walked to this museum and it was a little off the beaten path, but well worth the visit. If you like looking at history (and not just Civil War History) then this little gem is the place for you. With historical artifacts, memorabilia, and stories to go with them this was a great place to rap up our Gettysburg adventure. They even sold some of the artifacts so it was definitely a nice place to stop! There was no "set" fee, donations were appreciated and so we didn't mind chipping in a few bucks to keep the history alive.
