Free admission, one of a kind pieces. Lots of civil war stuff. What's not to like. I would recommend to all.

The Gettysburg Museum of History is a great place to visit and to start your historical tour of the wonderful town of Gettysburg. The knowledgeable and friendly staff are willing to discuss artifacts and to answer the questions of those who are very knowledgeable about the Civll War and those who find themselves in this pivitol place of History. Keep up the good work and your amazing website!

History can be magnificently observed and studied here at this museum. It looks like such a quaint little place but holds untold riches in unique and diverse, individualized items. There are items you will never see anywhere else. I would go back to Gettysburg just to visit the museum again.

Great free museum. Can't say enough about what a great little museum this is. Full of interesting items not seen anywhere else in Gettysburg. If you get a chance to talk to the owner it's a bonus.
