Open 7 days for lunch & dinner, The Garryowen, or "The GO" as it's know to our regulars, is as inviting as any pub found back in the old country with friendly service, a large selection of Irish whiskies, the best of Ireland's draft beers, and the perfect pour of Guinness which is complimented with a carefully picked selection of international and domestic premium beers, wines and spirits. Our kitchen prepares the most authentic Irish fare in the area from the owners' family recipes, with many ingredients imported directly from Ireland. Paired with traditional pub fare, made in house daily from scratch with local ingredients where possible. Our menu is sure to satisfy the most discerning of tastes. Enjoy your meal in our cozy dining room, by the fireplace or at the bar.The first and third Sundays of each month are a special treat for lovers of Irish music, with a traditional 'Seisun' from 2 til 5pm. Reservations are highly recommended.

“Just love this place”
Reviewed September 23, 2012 via mobile

We found this place back in November of 2011. Now we make it a POINT to stop here EVER trip down here. I love coming to Gettysburg and on this trip down here we went there once for lunch, once for dinner and twice just for the BEST BEER down here. Its called The Stubborn PRIG. Its a dark beer. I drink light beers, but this one is THAT GOOD. I think we will go there once more be for going home.

“Great meal”

Found this highly rated on TripAdvisor and agree that it was a great place for a meal. Great selection of beer and cider. Some of our group had hamburgers and I had the shepards pie. All the meals were excellent.

“Decent Pub food”
Reviewed September 19, 2012

Service is fine in this little Irish pub. The food is average but prices are reasonable and this is a good place to grab lunch or a relaxed dinner.

A group of friends and I went here and had a great evening! It was the end of a long, hard day, and we enjoyed having a few drinks and visiting. Waitstaff were nice, fast, and efficient.
