Whether you believe in ghosts or not, Miss Betty offers an entertaining ghost tour. She is able to weave a good story and keep your interest. When we took her tour, we met at the Gettysburg Middle School which was easy to find - near the middle of the town. We paid a discounted $15 instead of $20 since we were staying at the Inn at Herr Ridge. There were 8 of us on the tour. Once we met at the middle school, we all stayed in our own cars (no doubling up like some mentioned in previous reviews), put on our blinkers and followed Miss Betty to Sachs Bridge. It was a really atmospheric night because we had thunderstorms off and on throughout the tour. We also went to a haunted bed and breakfast, where we got to sit inside and listen to Miss Betty. In both places we had opportunities to take photos. She also showed us some of her photographs. The tour lasted about 2.5 hours.

My husband and I have been on many ghost tours over the years.
Miss Betty was the best by far.
We learned so much about Gettysburg and it's paranormal from this expirence.
We stayed at the Battlefield B&B and that's where this tour ended.Made it great for us we didn't have to drive far.
I would highly recommend this tour.

What we loved about this tour was there was just four of us and Miss Betty is well known and respected in Gettysburg. She had photos to back up her stories and we took some ourselves and were surprised when we got home and downloaded them. Fact or fiction this is a 'must do' tour. There is so much history and it is fascinating!

Where do I begin? From the minute we first met Miss Betty until the end of the night it was obvious that this lecture (I can't call it a tour) was tailored by Miss Betty for Miss Betty and her guests were an afterthought. After paying the $20.00 in cash of course. (Are you listening I.R.S.) The unannounced doubling up of guests in their cars was covered by other reviewers so I will start at Betty"s period costume. There wasen't one. Betty must have been working in plain clothes because she had to catch a plane. At least that's what it seemed like because of the way we were rushed through our visit to the haunted bridge. After parking the car, Betty rushed to the far end of the bridge without regard for her guests who had to navigate unfamiliar ground in pitch darkness. How about springing for a few flashlights Betty? Then we couldn't walk the grounds adjacent to the bridge because "the ground was muddy" Another tour group passed us on their way to this "muddy" area and showed no ill effects later. A few scripted stories and 30 seconds of pictire taking and we raced on to our next destination an inn obviously owned by a friend. There we were uncomfortably hurded into a tight standing group and Betty showed us pictures by flashlight no less. Hey Betty, how about letting your guests sit comfortably and look at the photos with the lights on! Now came an endless series of stories recited in Betty's monotone. Thankfully I and a few other members of the group managed to nod out at this time saving us further pain. Thirty more seconds of picture taking and our ordeal was over. Betty advertises that she is always surrounded by spirits who want to protect her. She didn't say that they were protecting her from angry tourists.

It rained the night we were to go anywhere so we stayed at a B&B and miss Betty told stories. Showed some pic. Then we did get to go out to an old barn.
