Ate dinner one night and breakfast the next morning while on tour of the area. Really good food and service. Our group of 5 ordered different items for dinner and were all pleased. The portions are generous so order accordingly. Breakfast was excellent also. Would send even my picky friends here.

Last week, I had the pleasure of dining at the One Lincoln Diner, and it was a wonderful experience! The food was great and the wallpaper was so charming. I also had a handsome, young and personable waiter - I believe his name was Brian - who was such a delight! Restaurant experiences can sometimes be tricky, but this was great. Thank you One Lincoln!

Thank you for sharing your experience about your recent visit with us! Brian is a great server and a wonderful member of our team. The wallpaper is quite the conversation piece and helps to add to the historic charm of a Gettysburg visit. We hope to see you again soon the next time you're in town.

We were looking for a place for a quick lunch before we headed out of Gettysburg and wandered into One Lincoln. It was fine for our purposes. The menu, while not extensive, offers a sufficiently broad set of options to please almost anyone. One of us had the Maryland clam chowder--spicy and hearty. Another had a roasted tomato and mozzarella salad topped with a balsamic drizzle, and found it had too much lettuce and not enough tomato. Despite that, the roasting deepened the flavors nicely. Another had a standard club sandwich, nicely prepared with fresh ingredients. Service was prompt and attentive except when we wanted to pay. One Lincoln fit the bill for what we were looking for.

We did not have a meal in the restaurant, but only spent time in the bar. We were told we couldn't order food until after 7:30 PM which was a first for us, but not a true problem since we were not planning to eat there.
As it was, we ended up enjoying ourselves so much chatting with several different people at the bar and the bartender .(I think her name was Terry)

Two drinks later and lively conversation, Keith Hernandez was there, we ordered the Bolognese with two house salads. While the Bolognese satisfied our tummies, it reminded me of a better quality Chef Boyardee Beef a Roni. (I am Italian so I could be somewhat picky about my Bolognese.)
The cheesecake was delicious!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I'm very happy that Terry took great care of you; she's very entertaining and a great member of our team. We do make the bolognese from scratch so I would've hoped it stood up to your scrutiny, but i'll check with my chef to make sure we're doing everything we can to make it outstanding.
