One visit here will teach you more then any history class! A walk through these sacred grounds teaches you respect of what this country is made of!

This is a very lovely and peaceful area. Graves are in sections. Lots of plaques and historical information placed throughout. Nice to take a walk through, provides time to reflect on what was gained, and lost during those 3 days. Keep your senses open, there are still soldiers who are not at rest.

Definitely a spot to take some time to visit - this is where Lincoln gave his famous Gettysburg Address. Very sobering to walk through and see the many graves of unknown soldiers especially.

To fully understand the scope of the battle a trip to the cemetery is necessary. Not only was it part of the battle but you can view its aftermath.

Walking through here makes you feel small. Small because of the sacrifice that surrounds you. This cemetery is absolutely beautiful. There are trees from different states planted everywhere. Knowing that Lincoln gave his address here will give you goosebumps.
