“Good Food and Atmosphere”
Reviewed June 20, 2014

We stopped in at the bar on our first night in Gettysburg, and returned the next afternoon. The beer is good, and they have an extensive cocktail menu. They also have a good selection of appetizers (including vegetarian) and dinner entrees. We can only review the sandwiches, however, because that's what we had both days. They are excellent and so are the steak fries. We'll be back on our next trip to Gettysburg.

“GETS BETTER WITH EACH VISIT.....”
Reviewed June 17, 2014

Went in Friday for HAPPY HOUR... Wings are always crispy and done just right, plus the bucket of sauces that you get with them gives you a wide variety of chioces. Went in later the same night for soup, ham & bean and the seafood one, both were very good. Always friendly staff and bartenders. This is are go to place in Gettysburg anymore for HAPPY HOUR and LATE NIGHT.

“Interesting Story, But Average”
Reviewed June 17, 2014

The food here was nothing to write home about. Service was helpful but slow. It didn't appear to be the fault of the waitress, they just appeared to be understaffed. We'd probably try something different if we happen through town again.

“Great dining choice”

My family and I eat at Gettysburg Eddie's each time we're in town. Great food and great service. A very good place to take a break and recharge during a visit to the battlefield and museums.

“Gettysburg Eddie's is Excellent!”
Reviewed June 17, 2014

We traveled to our favorite Gettysburg B&B, the Baladerry Inn, to celebrate our 41st anniversary and chose Gettysburg Eddie's for our anniversary dinner. What a great decision! Before we arrived, we both agreed to "splurge" and get filet mignon. Now...as you all know, when you order steak at a restaurant, you always wonder if they'll cook it exactly as you have in mind. At THIS eatery, they explain exactly what the terms medium rare, or medium, whatever--all of those--mean to them so that you get exactly what you want for SURE! We ordered ours medium and they were perfect--not "close," but PERFECT! Our dinners came with a choice of a house salad or a Caesar salad and two sides. We both chose the Caesar salads but he added rice and broccoli to his dinner while I added a baked potato and fried apple fritters to mine. The servings, by the way, were just enough to fill you but not overfill you; we skipped the dessert because we were just to capacity and didn't want to ruin it. Service was fine although our server is what Jerry Seinfeld refers to as a "low talker," which made it a little difficult to hear her due to a table of 9 celebrating ladies right behind us (not something ANY restaurant can control). This dinner was $21.99 each and the filet mignon, by the way, was 8 ounces of absolute tender Heaven! Thanks go out to the Gettysburg Eddie's staff for making our evening very special.
