“Nice but over priced”

This restaurant is in a good location. Very nice interior. Food was only average. Price was very high for what you got.

“Crab dip was delicious”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2013

A local person recommended that my daughter and I try Gettysburg Eddie's and, if we went, to try the crab dip. It comes in a sourdough bread bowl and was delicious. Both my daughter and I had salads that were plentiful and had a good variety of ingredients. Our server was pleasant and we enjoyed the relatively quiet atmosphere of the room just to the left of the front door.
We were fortunate to arrive before any large crowds (two groups of 7+ arrived as we were leaving) and had a nice stroll along the "tourist area" watching the shoppers look for Civil War trinkets.
I would go back to GE's.

“Pub atmosphere, good food for casual eating”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 1, 2013

We had this restaurant recommended to us as one where the locals ate. It is basically a pub with TV's all around showing baseball games. Our Mexican salads were delicious. Of course a noisy place but one where a gang of friends could go and eat, drink and be merry.

“Very average”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2013

The service is really poor - they jam you in and don't seem to have enough waiters. The food is very average - We always rate the food by asking each other "Would you get it again?" Both of us answered "no". Not worth it.

“Gettysburg Eddie's”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 30, 2013

Formerly known as The Gingerbread-man GE's features a decor based around the history of baseball from the area. They serve great burgers and full meals. Many of the young business types from the area frequent the back bar for after work specials. On street parking or in the rear.
