A local person recommended that my daughter and I try Gettysburg Eddie's and, if we went, to try the crab dip. It comes in a sourdough bread bowl and was delicious. Both my daughter and I had salads that were plentiful and had a good variety of ingredients. Our server was pleasant and we enjoyed the relatively quiet atmosphere of the room just to the left of the front door.
We were fortunate to arrive before any large crowds (two groups of 7+ arrived as we were leaving) and had a nice stroll along the "tourist area" watching the shoppers look for Civil War trinkets.
I would go back to GE's.
