A very thorough presentation of what each "side" was thinking as they approached this turning point battle enables us to picture what each general and his troops....and reinforcements.......positioning.....hiding....re-grouping.....resulted in one of the major battles in the Civil War.
This tour took two hours and certainly was worth the price we paid! Even when I
couldn't get off the bus with the group because of ankle pain, our bus driver was very helpful in filling me in on the information about the area we were visiting. This tour was well worth our time and we came away more knowledgeable about the historical significance of this area and its famous Battle!

This was the best way to see the battlefield, when you first get to Gettyburg. you get a great overall feel for the place The tour guides were exceptional - so full of information, and stories, kept you wanting more. There were a few places that we wanted to go back to, and see later, and spend more time, but this tour enabled us to identify those places. I think it hit all of the highlights of the battlefield. For two hours, we certainly covered A LOT! Well worth the price. We had a 7 year old, and he wasn't a bit bored- very interested as well......

My family and I visited Gettysburg for a short period of time, so, we wanted to be sure to learn about the Battle in a short period of time. We purchased the package plan (includes 7 attractions) from the tour company and were able to learn and visit all the attraction in one day (albeit ALL DAY affair). We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the guide did not take himself too seriously while still being able to provide great information on the battle (the guide reminded us of Elmer Fudd)! If you are short on time and want to tour the battlefield, we would HIGHLY recommend this tour.
