“"Interesting Service, Tremendous Food!"”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

My husband and I were looking for an off the beaten path dinner, and boy did we find one. First, I must say our first impression of the restaurant almost had us leaving-the hostess (high school age) said she wouldn't be able to seat us for 30 minutes, with six empty tables in view!? Puzzled, we waited...needless to say the hostess was clueless and turned hundreds of dollars of customers away that night in bizarre ways, which become humorous to us throughout the night. Our food, which was NOT presentation portion size was fabulous! Tuna, French dip and their Pork Normandy were grilled with perfection. Go with patience and leave with delight!

“Excellent Sunday breakfast”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

We had our Sunday breakfast at the quiet and comfortable cafe. The Quiche was superb and the French toast was as well. We hadn't visited the cafe for quite awhile but we definitely go more frequently.

“Outstanding crepes!”
Reviewed July 6, 2013

A French restaurant may not seem to fit the theme of a Gettysburg vacation, but it's worth bypassing the various tourist-trap buffets and "taverns" if you want some exquisite food. We were there for a Friday morning "brunch" and could not have been happier. Everyone had crepes, which were outstanding, light and fluffy and almost bursting with fresh, tasty ingredients. The fruit crepes had real berries, not the jam you'll find in other "fruit" crepes, the egg and bacon ones were like omelettes within a crepe, and the caramelized onion and cheese ranked as possibly the best I've ever eaten. It's a family-run place that deserves consideration, especially if you appreciate good crepes!

“Below average food quality”
Reviewed July 3, 2013

Despite the French theme which translates into a nice ambiance, our dining experience here wasn't at all convincing. We both chose one of their salads and they were both disappointing. Maybe other choices would be better, but definitely steer clear of the salads here.
