Beautiful building and rooms. The breakfast is fantastic. The best part was the owners. They were so personable and gave great recommendations for activities, whatever it was you wanted to do, as well as restaurant recommendations. The inn is within a short walk of the center of town, where you can find many restaurants, wine tasting, shops. The only drawback is the parking behind the inn can be a little tight. Also, we did have some "rowdy" people going by one night on the street which woke us up. Definitely will stay here again.

Just visited Gettysburg and stayed at the Gaslight Inn. It was a gift for my mother and I from my daughters for Christmas. The Gaslight Inn was our first B and B we had stayed in. We stayed in the Aster room and it was very comfortable. Lovely porch and view of the gardens. Becky the owner was very accommodating and made us feel very welcome. Loved the dogs that greeted and entertained us, especially Oliver. Breakfast was delicious and filling. The Inn is close to town but off the main street which I think could be noisy so i liked its location. Thanks for a lovely stay!

My sisters and I stayed for two nights at this inn. It was one of the best I've ever been to. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and Mike's suggestions for exploring Gettysburg were excellent. He even helped us get a restaurant for dinner one night. The food was superb, and every detail was well thought out. I look forward to going back.

Room Tip: Violet room is perfect for one person or a couple.

Writing this review (April 29, 2014) while we are staying in the Gaslight B&B, and this is a first rate B&B. We are staying in the Aster room (3rd floor) which has a king bed, sitting area, fireplace and a good size bath with a steam shower. The Gaslight is just a half a block from down town, and is walking distance from everything in the square. Free parking is in the rear and the staff is very inventive. If you choose the B&B, you will not go wrong.

Room Tip: The Aster is on the 3rd floor and you don't hear the foot steps of people walking around above a...

The Gaslight Inn is the perfect place to stay while visiting Gettysburg. The location is extremely convenient and the innkeepers are the best ! The room was very comfortable and cozy with a gas fireplace and steam shower. The breakfasts were yummy and filling. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

I stayed here with my 16yr old son in "The Aster Room" and we loved it! He and I had more than enough room and he's a big boy! The inn keepers are all very welcoming & helpful from check-in to check-out. The location is great to be able to park the car & walk the historic streets of Gettysburg. The inn keepers helped with some local recommendations for eating and places to see as well as how to see the battleground. We checked-in Sat-Tues which was more than enough time for us to explore the sites and not feel like we missed anything. We walked the streets day and evening and always felt safe. When we visit again, we will def. stay here!

Room Tip: Parking is behind the b&b, so I would suggest calling ahead & getting directions. Once you...

We stayed here once before quite a few years ago with the previous owners. The inn is is very good shape. The housekeeping is immaculate. Breakfast is well-presented and very skillfully prepared. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful in steering you to interesting places and good restaurants. This was a special trip, commemorating when we first met each other 50 years ago as students at Gettysburg College, and when the staff learned of this, four chocolate covered strawberries unexpectedly made their way to our room. The room was huge, on the back of the inn with sliding glass doors to a balcony. We didn't use the steam shower feature but did on our last visit and found it very nice. One breakfast seating is offered at 9:00, which was a little late for us, but for this trip it didn't matter.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms on the front as the traffic and street noise on Middle St. can be bothersome.
