“Not to be missed!”
Reviewed April 3, 2012

This was an attraction we never visited before. Well, it is quite a gem for history buffs, especially for presidential info. Ike & Mamie epitomize the truly American institution of President and First Lady. A real treat for the whole family.

“Ike's House”
Reviewed March 31, 2012

Got tour bus at the information center. Gave a nice talk on the 10 minute ride to the Eisenhowser estate. The volunteers were very friendly and knowledgable at the house. It was nice to see how the President and Mrs. Eisenhowser actually lived. Secret Service quarters was very interesting in how they managed to protect the family. Beautiful farmland that is still being used.

“Ike and Mamie”
Reviewed March 31, 2012

I loved that it was self guided. We had done our homework and could have done without the run down by the park ranger. The guide in the house was informative and kept his speech short, a good thing. The house was wonderful, and we went to the barns, even in the rain. Also, the guide in the house gave me a Secret Service pin for my grandson! Even tho he was only 3.

Great place to visit, it has a lot of history. Just a bit of the beaten trail but worth the time.
