Historical site was recently completely redone at a cost of millions of dollars. Wonderful movie and wonderful tour. Edison"s mansion is a delight to see.

“Great for a family quicky”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

This is a great place to go for a quick local getaway. It has great information on one of our greatest inventors in History. The Edison House visit is worth the trip up the mountain as well.

“I still remember The Edison Museum”
Reviewed November 15, 2012

Talk about history! This man invented the Light Bulb! The Phonograph, The Motion Picture, and so much more. I remember going there in 5th grade on a field trip. Ah but that was a day out of school. Not like going as an adult. This is a wonderful historic place.

“Great and authentic”

Great educational visit. Definitely worth going on your own or taking the kids for some history. It's impressive to see new actual Thomas Edison artifacts and how visionary he was.

“What a great visit”
Reviewed November 5, 2012 via mobile

A friend was visiting me in New Jersey and wanted to go to this. Ugh, I thought. I/we had a great time! Interesting, informative...I would recommend even to locals. Such a gem right in West Orange.
