Thank you for you aking a few minutes to let us know about your recent stay at the Radisson Blu Warwick hotel. I am truly apologetic that you found our associates not to be engaging during your stay. Ido appreicate the feedback on the music in our beautiful lobby and that you found the location to be ideal for your visit. We hope that you try us again for a future visit to Philadelphia and allow us the opportunity to demonstrate our genuine hospitality.
Stately and erect from the outside the Warwick Radisson in Philadelphia opens into a freeform (and slightly quirky) modern hotel with all the amenities we required on our short stay. The room we had was spacious without any upgrades at a very reasonable price. The staff (especially Francisco the doorman) were attentive, profession and friendly.
Located a few blocks from the Philadelphia subway (SEPTA), the directions that Franscisco gave us to Citizen's Bank ballpark via the subway were accurate and complete.
The South 17th Street area has restaurants and shops and, if it weren't for the business nature of this trip, I'd have enjoyed any time I might have had to spend walking around the area.
Dear Tim K ,
I have to tell y ou the Francesco was absoluely thrilled that you menioned him by name. Thank you for the opportunity to recognize him and the absolutely genuine service he is known for. We appreciate your comment/posting on Trip Advisor about the Radisson Blu Warwick hotel and yes, please return for a leisure visit to take advantage of all that our beautiful city has to offer.
Enjoy your weekend,
I stayed here for two nights in June of 2014. IT is about a $30 cab ride from the airport. The staff was exceptional in all respects, The room was clean and comfortable. The environmental controls were easy to work and actually did a great job of controlling the room temperature ( cannot say that everywhere). The wifi was also very good. The coffee shop has good coffee, but the pastries taste like they are store bought. I did not try the steak restaurant but the casual restaurant and bar were nice.
We all were so pleased to read the review you posted about your recent stay at the Radisson Blu Warwick hotel Philadelphia. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to recognize the associates for the service they provided to you. We appreicate the time to write about your stay.
enjoy your weekend,
My wife and I stayed this past Thursday through Sunday while in town to attend a wedding. The location is next to Rittenhour (sp?) Square, four blocks from the Suburban Train Stop, and 1 block from a Hop On Hop Off Bus tour bus stop. Staff was friendly and helpful. Stayed in room with an adjoining door which was a little noisy. The fridge was nice. The bed was firm like we like. Bar was convenient for late drink with wedding party. Really good restaurants close by so we did not try the hotel restaurant. We did not have a car so we cannot speak about the parking. The tub bottom in our room had a very pronounced slope to the center which I thought made it a little difficult to stand on when taking a shower (potential slip risk for some). We would stay here again.
It certainly seems like you both took advantage of the time you spent in Philadelphia when visiting for a wedding recently. The location of the hotel is certainly ideal for getting around and exploring the sights. Thank you for your posting and we hope to enjoy the peasure of a return visit soon!
My wife and I had stayed in the Warwick 10 years ago. It is wonderfully located and was a mid sized "in town hotel" located just off Rittenhouse Square. It has had a total renovation and refurbishment. Every thing went well. Facility,,comfort, quality. Linens and a great breakfast buffet.i would stay again.
One night in Philadelphia is certainly just too short and 10 years is certainly just too long for a repeat visit! I am thrilled that you returned and were impressed with what you found at the Radisson Blu Warwick Hotel Philadelphia!
I've been around and not often do I rave about a hotel. But this hotel deserves its praises.
Here is my rating:
Lobby – 9 (hip & happening with an amazing bar attached)
Hallways – 10 (finally nice hallways to match the room)
Room – 9 (bigger than most with an amazing closet)
Location – 10 (park your car and leave it. Everything you need is within 6 blocks)
Price – 9 (compared to other hotels around this area, the price is excellent)
Would I stay here again? Absolutely.
WOW! Thank you for an outstanding review of the Radisson Blu Warwick hotel here in Rittenhouse Square. I am delighted you were able to enjoy your stay in our beautiful and iconic hotel here in downtown Philadelphia. We look forward to your return visit. Thanks again.
