This soon to be "Radisson Blu" has old world charm, grand service and 21st century amenities. The location in Rittenhouse Square could not be better --- walk the Ben Franklin Parkway to the museums et al and to Independence Hall. The famous park and marvelous Parc Restaurant are right around the corner. I was pleased with the service each and every minute I spent here.

Spent three nights at the Radisson. Nearly everything is in walking distance (Walnut St = 1min, City Hall = 5-10min, Independance Hall = 30min). Very nice fitness center, but no pool. House keeping and service were friendly, concierge (Steve) great - listen to his recommendations! He told us about the Big Bus tour and a very decent cheese steak diner - Steve's Prince of Steak (has nothing to do with him as he said). He organised a private transport to bus tour stop no. 1 right after our arrival because our room wasn't ready then. We will stay again!

Very Friendly Staff. Room service was wonderful. Definitely would stay again. We went down for a two night stay for the Taylor Swift concert and their room service was very accommodating to the rain delay as we had wanted to have it delivered for when we got back around 11 but the rain delay mad the concert get out two hours later and they said they would keep our stuff in the room service fridge until we got back around 1 so it would still be cold.

Don't judge the hotel by the initial Lobby experience. The rooms have recently been renovated and were very nice from a business traveler perspective. I was at the hotel for a conference hosted for 2 days on the Mezzanine level.
The room was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Everything in the room was in good working order. The free wireless was fast which is always beneficial. There is nothing worse then getting free internet that is so slow you can't conduct business. The wifi internet was readily available from everywhere in the hotel I visited and was accessible on all devices easily (computer, iphone, ipad) which definitely saves on the roaming data charges (as I am coming from Canada).
I was also pleasantly surprised with the room service food which was definitely above my expectation. The Angus striploin, soup and salad I ordered were quite delicious. Usually room service is just passable from a quality perspective. I would definitely stay here again.

I was recently in Philly for a girl's weekend with a really large group. Because it was a group thing, I didn't select this hotel, but I did end up very impressed. The rooms were quite large and very nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The location seemed good overall.
