We needed a hospital close to the Pennsylvania hospital as our daughter was giving birth. About a half an hour walk for us, this hotel was perfectly located near great restaurants , interesting shops and even close enough to drive to the ball park. Recently redone, the rooms are large and comfortable. Best of all is a terrific staff absolutely everyone had a smile and offered help. Steve at the front door suggested Whiskey Village for fabulous burgers and Devon's for seafood. There us a great little cafe for breakfast with super pastries and again excellent staff. We enjoyed our stay but it was made more so by a great, courteous staff. They are to be commended.

What a beautiful hotel, once you walk in! But unfortunately, they did not keep the old world theme throughout the rest of the hotel. Once we got off the elevator onto our floor, it was all black and white and everything was very modern. Our room was clean and the bathroom was small, but nice. But again- everything was VERY modern. Not much room on the bathroom counter because of the modern sink. The gym was great- lots of cardio equipment with each having their own TV. They have free weights and a few pieces of nautilus. The front desk staff, bellmen and housekeepers were so friendly and helpful with check in, valet, holding our bags the next day so we could stay a little longer, we got late check out, and a nice recommendation for lunch. It is a beautiful hotel in the perfect location, but I am just not a "modern" decor person and would not stay again just for that reason. The hallways and rooms felt cold and kind of creepy. But that's a personal preference. There is a Westin down the street, that's more my style of comfort. But if you can find this hotel for a great price, it's worth it!

We only stayed one night for a wedding but everything was perfect! Beautiful lobby, great location, and best of all, super-friendly staff and service. Valet parking was $35 but you'd pay a similar amount finding parking yourself. We were late coming back after visiting the Independence Hall on the check-out day, but the hotel graciously allowed us a late check-out. I normally don't write reviews but was compelled to write this one as the hotel really treats its customers right, which I don't take for granted.

We just returned from a week-end away to see a Philly's game. This hotel was in a PERFECT location to shops and dining. The hotel staff were all wonderful, friendly and helpful. The lounge had great late night food! We would stay here again in a heartbeat! Took a cab to the game and well worth the money rather than the subway.

This hotel is newly renovated and is convenient to many areas of interest in the city. Our room on the 8th floor was very spacious and included a swivel TV and a fridge. The bed was wonderfully comfortable. We enjoyed cocktails and dinner downstairs at the Prime Rib, and also really liked the Coffee Bar in the lobby.
