Its past midnight and I've just arrived from a long flight from the UK. Id called the hotel the evening before, who advised me there was a dedicated telephone in the arrivals area to call the shuttle bus. No such thing existed. I had to get customer services at the airport to call the hotel to arrange a shuttle bus. I was advised it would be about 10 mins wait.
A Wyndham hotel shuttle bus arrived, but took me to the Wyndham Garden hotel, who had no notification of my booking. The receptionist said the shuttle bus could drop me back at the microtel enroute to the airport. It was getting late, and I was a single female traveller. The driver said he would drop me back at the airport rather than to the microtel. (I thought these were run by the same hotel chain Wyndham!)
Rather than wait for a non existent shuttle bus, and no airport customer service on duty at such a late time, I decided to take a taxi... The taxi typed in the address to his sat nav.. but it couldn't be found.. I ended up staying the night at the Courtyard Marriott AT EXTRA EXPENSE!
What a joke! I thought Wyndham hotels were one and the same company..obviously not.
