“Nice decor, but...”
Reviewed July 14, 2014

This restaurant in the heart of Philly is ideally located within walking distance of rittenhouse square and the business district. Nice interior, and good for families too. But, the food is nothing to crave about, what is described as fusion is more like a mish mash of oriental cuisines loosely stranded together. We ordered pita and hummus for appetizer, the pita was off the shelf cut up in wedges and served with 'sabra' hummus. the pad thai was tasteless seemed loaded with sugar, for hot sauce you get tabasco. The place is avoidable, unless you fill like sitting on swinging chairs and sipping bottled beer.

“This time a "hit"”
Reviewed June 29, 2014 via mobile

It's been hit or miss lately. Yesterday, preshow drinks and apps were great. 3 couples, all nicely "happy" and hungry. Quinoa tabbouleh and Kofta with hummus...edamame and shoestring potatoes were all fab. We were all the way upstairs at the bar. Bar tenders were very nice but the place needs a general updating. If the food wasnt as good/eclectic, I would have sworn I was in Wildwood!

“Rat under the table”
Reviewed June 16, 2014

Have been to this restaurant once before for a business meal and it was ok. Food ok, not great, but the cocktails are better and the atmosphere was quite lively.

However... I went there on Sunday June 15th at 8.00pm and whilst we were sat in a booth waiting for our drinks, I saw something move under the table... i looked again and saw a very large mouse or a small rat (not sure which it was) running around by my feet.

I got up and informed the staff and they seemed to not be as concerned as we were .. maybe they didnt want to rattle the guests and im not sure what the protocol is on these things..
Needless to say, will never be going there again !!!

“Fun and quirky tapas place”
Reviewed June 9, 2014

Went in on a whim because we were intrigued by the decor. Was a GREAT find! Delicious and eclectic sharing menu, good drink and cocktail selection and wonderful service. We like it so much, we went again - two times in three days. The brussels sprouts are divine as are the charred green beans. Must try the Philly Cheesesteak egg rolls - and they have dessert flights to try several items at a reasonable price.

“Work Dinner”
Reviewed May 30, 2014

Twelve of us from work went here for our annual "fellowship" dinner and it was lovely. The space was great. There is plenty of room for large and small groups. They have an upstairs patio that is a great Happy Hour spot for the summer time. It has a bit of a retro feel, which can be seen in the furniture. Staff was lovely and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the lobster mac&cheese as well as the french onion dumplings. My other coworkers enjoyed their meals as well. I did not hear any complaints about the food. The drink menu is extensive and creative. You will definitely find something new to try. Great choice for casual and laid-back dining.
