We enjoyed ant appreciated the space and the location being so close to the convention center and many great restaurants. The front desk folks were always helpful and pleasant. I plan to stay there for the 3rd time next year!
Great place!! Amazing location and central to everything!! Only thing the second bedroom windows are not very good, you can hear everything:-( but some towels on the panes helped a little. Will definitely book again.
I would definitely recommend this stayalfred apartment in Philly. It was very clean and bright with large bedrooms and attached bathrooms. The concierge Harold was especially helpful and lovely and the check in and check out process was the easiest we ever experienced! My only suggestion is to have more blankets in the winter as the rooms cool off very quickly and or have thermal drapes on the windows which can retain the heat and block some of the expected city noise. The helicopter pad to the hospital is right across the street, but for a nurse and a paramedic couple just felt like home to us LOL. Thanks again for an enjoyable experience, Happy 2017!
I love the idea of renovating these old, sometime historic, inter-city buildings. The mix of the old and the new can be very cool. We had unit 301 in this building. Sorry to say, the construction was rather low-end, the windows filthy and drafty, and it was impossible to control the temperature. One minute too hot, next freezing cold. The kitchen has pots, pans and dishes. If you plan on cooking, you need to bring everything else; even salt and pepper. We have stayed at numerous time share condos that had the basics on the spice shelf. The unit is advertised to have parking, it does not. That will cost you ~$35 per day, yikes! The location is very good. A Target is right across the street and countless restaurants are in the neighborhood. Not sure I would stay here again if the opportunity arose.
The location of this rental is very good. Very central. It was spacious and suited our needs very well. Kitchen and showers were clean. The instructions were good and the Alfred staff was responsive.
We stayed here for five days for conference at the Philadelphia Convention Center and could not be happier with the experience. It's a nice modern apartment with some decent views. The location is right near everything going on downtown. It's an easy walk to city hall/rittenhouse or independence hall/liberty bell/old town. It's all right there. It almost feels like a hotel stay with Stay Alfred providing small soap/shampoo bottles and whatnot. Bonus: there is a Target across the street to buy whatever else you need. One thing to note is that they say to hit a "Stay Alfred" call button when you arrive but there isn't one. You will need to have the concierge let you in (basically by waiving them down) and then explain to them that your keys are upstairs. You will also be required to tell every different concierge after that which apartment you are staying in since they haven't seen you yet. Overall would defintely stay there again for any Philly trip.
This place was perfect. Central, clean, and really big! We had 4 people in here and it was a retreat from the big city - and the small hotel room options we had. We made breakfast every morning in the kitchen, plus the view is fantastic. 100% would stay here again!
