“My favorite restaurant in Philly!”
Reviewed July 12, 2013

Amada is by far my favorite restaurant in the city. The food is amazing, the service is great, and I love the sangria. Don't miss the crab stuffed peppers! And if you go for brunch, try the delicious lemon and ricotta pancakes. If you want to go for dinner on the weekend, make sure you make a reservation about 2 weeks in advance to get the time you want. Also, the atmosphere in the back of the restaurant is a little less hectic and definitely more romantic than the front seating area. Be prepared to spend about 100 dollars per couple for a full meal including drinks, plus tip. It's a little pricey, but well worth it!

“Amazing Amada”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

I am happy to say that Amada has not lost its edge. I went for my birthday with my husband and two other couples. We had a great table by the window (although I am old for benches) and a great server. We tried the chef's tasting and every dish was better than the last. The service of the dishes was timed well and our only complaint was too much food, which is unusual at a tapas restaurant. Really fun atmosphere, everyone was happy. Thanks.

“Tinto de verano”
Reviewed July 9, 2013

Had a wonderful dinner here with friends. Sat outside sipping tinto de veranos (red wine with sprite and a lime twist) that the bartendar graciously mixed up for us upon request. The tapas were a generous size and delicious. The waitress was very attentive.
