“Great place to see a ballgame”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Citizens Bank Park was designed around the great throw-back ball field in Baltimore, except much better concessions and parking!

“Great Ball PArk”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

This is a great ball park to watch a baseball game and the food is great. They have all the philly favorites but a few surprises. Try the Schmitter.

“A nice place to watch a ball game”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Citizens Bank Park is designed like many of the newer MLB parks with a lot of attention to the entire experience of being there for a game. The sight lines all seem to be pretty good, especially for seats facing either foul line, even in the standing room spots. In terms of food, they actually change some of the vendors every few years in what is a very nice, spacious area behind center field. There is a really large variety of beer available. Unfortunately the food in most of the park is pretty plain and repetitious and the covered councourse areas are way too small. Unlike the new stadium in DC, they didn't allow for enough people who are out of their seats in these newer open-style parks and there are a couple of ridiculous walkways that are extremely tight, especially behind the left field seats. And if you've heard bad things about the rowdy, Philly fans, believe it. I'm a midwest transplant to Philly and I can't believe how rude and obnoxious they are here, especially a large number of drunken college-aged kids at every game, both men and women. I would not recommend taking youngsters unless you want them to pick up bad habits and learn every profanity imaginable.

“Best food in the major leagues”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

Don't miss Bull's BBQ or Chickie's and Pete's Crab Fries. Visit Tony Luke's if you want a real South Philly Italian Pork sandwich but won't get to South Philly. Arrive early and eat before the game as the lines get long once the crowds arrive.

Skip Federal Donuts, though. This satellite commissary is nowhere near the original restaurants quality.

“Over priced and tight”
Reviewed November 23, 2013

I miss the VET let me start off. They tried to recreate the classic ballpark but failed by over charging, packing you in and took the fun out of watching a game. Save your money and go to one of the many local minor league teams. I love the Phillies but they sucked the enjoyment out of watching a live game.
