I found this place by accident and guess what - it's one of the happiest accidents EVER!! The Tria group has 2 locations in Center City and a Fermentation School. The location I went to was the 11th & Spruce Location. The best deal is Happy Hour - Mon-Sat 4-6 & take advantage of $5 Wine Special. ..just a note...they do serve beer too. They have cheese that must be sampled ---my mouth is watering remembering the offerings. If you get there early enough - it could be a great beginning of the evening for a date night

When the opportunity to work in Philly comes up I jump on it with the thought in my head that at the end of the day I can have a great glass of wine, some cheese and crostinis at Tria. Staff are very knowledgeable and the long bar is a great place to make new friends.

We got there ready for a nice meal, but were disappointed with the service. Had a beer at the bar, then we were seated across from the hostess station, which is where one can find all of the waitresses gossiping instead of serving customers. Several times we had to ask to get water refills and beer refills, and when the dinner plates were served we had to send one back because it was cold! The food was good and reasonable priced, but the young, female wait staff were so self centered and annoying, it ruined the night!

Probably my favorite place in Philly when I lived there a few years back, I had opportunity to revisit tria when passing through the other day. An amazing specialty restaurant that puts some serious thought into their menu. Their presentation of cheese is somewhat unique compared with other places that serve a cheese menu. Instead of the tired grape or nut accompaniment to the cheese, the tria folk put significant thought into the cheese and pair it with unique things like honey or apple butter. Incredibly well informed staff that have always been helpful. Food menu is very solid for small plates. Can't go wrong with this place If you love cheese wine and beer!
