It is an amazing cathedral. If you have the opportunity during Xmas try to attend midnight mass. A wonderful experience.

“Right on the Parkway”
Reviewed November 25, 2013

As Catherdrals go, it's not the biggest, but it is one of the most beautiful. It's the seat of the Roman Catholic cardinal, a Prince of the Church, of Philadelphia.
Inspiring

“Beautiful well decorated cathedral”
Reviewed November 11, 2013

Wonder what this would look like inside and was totally overwhelmed. Was much bigger and grander than I expected from the outside. Has fantastic sculpturing, detailing and stained glass windows. A lovely stop for a quiet and peaceful moment as your way on foot to the art museum and rocky steps,

“Wonderfully majestic”
Reviewed October 30, 2013

This Cathedral is sparkling with gold and gold overlay all over.. its huge and reminded me as the smaller version of the Immaculate Conception Basilica in Washington DC. Parking is free and secure at the back and plenty of cheap parking around the area, its also a walking distance away from nearby parks and tourist attractions.
