One-night stay in mid-October. The hotel is beautiful--modern amenities, historic charm. Perfect location downtown: 10-minute walk to Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, Center City attractions by way of Washington Square park. About 10 blocks from Rittenhouse Square. Comfortable, clean, excellent service, friendly staff. Hotel offers discount for parking garage across the street and M Restaurant (excellent) next door. Only one minor glitch: breakfast was heavy on carbs: breads, rolls, sweets, granola. Would have appreciated a protein option and fresh fruit salad (as opposed to whole apple, orange, etc.). Will probably have breakfast elsewhere next time, but we'll definitely return.
