“Indoor farmers market”
Reviewed May 1, 2014 via mobile

Very excited to be able to visit here. Great atmosphere. Many merchants and restaurants. Ate there with friends and everyone easily found something to their liking. Be aware that on Sunday's there may be areas of the market that are not open as some shops are run by Amish families and Sunday is their holy day. Will definitely make this a stop on my next visit to Philly.

“A Philadelphia Institution!”
Reviewed April 30, 2014

Any visit to Philadelphia is incomplete without a trip to the Reading Terminal Market for either breakfast or lunch. There are so many different vendors to choose from. Every food vendor is a specialist in their own right, and the produce, meat and fish vendors sell only the choicest of products. The Amish grocer is also a specialty. Their dishes are not to be beat. Bassett's ice cream is *the* best ice cream in the world. It is centrally located right "downtown" on Market Street. It has atmosphere to beat-the-band. You'll only be sorry if you don't get there for a visit. Every time I visit Philadelphia, I go there. I was born there, but haven't lived there for over 40 years, but I wouldn't fail to go there whenever I visit home.

“A Gem in the City”
Reviewed April 29, 2014

The Reading Terminal is one of Philly's treasure. Its a great place to find natural foods, delicious seafood, hoagies and cheese steaks and of course - some of the best soft pretzels. We've been coming to the terminal for years.
