“A must when in Philly. ”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2013 via mobile

We were visiting Philly and just has to come here for lunch. So many choices to try, it is hard to make a decision. We had the pork sand which at Dinic's, pretzels from Millers Twist (which were awesome) and ice cream on our way out. We did see a small mouse running around at one of the food joints while we were eating in the market, so that was a minus, or part of the ambiance?

“a must experience for lunch in center city”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 6, 2013

the reading terminal market is an emporium of all sorts of restaurants in small little cafes. It is full of hustle and bustle and a great experience if you are in center city. It is right across the street from the convention center. Go here for lunch. There are many food options. But the one I would recommend is D'Nicks for a roast pork sandwich with garlic broccoli robb and sharp provolone. Not only is this perhaps the best sandwich in the world, it is big enough to feed two people and it costs only $8.00. If you are really hungry get one for all by yourself.

“A must visit!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 4, 2013

Really fun place to explore, especially is you're hungry! they have a huge variety of eateries so there's something for everyone. I'm from NYC, so compared to NYC, the prices here are pretty cheap!

“DiNic's is DiBest!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 3, 2013

Many visitors to Philadelphia get caught up in the search for the perfect cheesesteak: Pat's, Gino's, Tony Luke's? The best alternative is DiNic's at the Reading Terminal Market. Choose between sandwiches of lean brisket or Italian and traditional pork on a crusty roll ... with options for provolone, "greens" (broccoli rabe), long-hot peppers and horseradish that will cure stuffy sinuses. Arrive before 11:45am or after 1:15pm to avoid lines. Hope for seats at the counter, where service and people watching are equally great.
