Really fun place to explore, especially is you're hungry! they have a huge variety of eateries so there's something for everyone. I'm from NYC, so compared to NYC, the prices here are pretty cheap!

Many visitors to Philadelphia get caught up in the search for the perfect cheesesteak: Pat's, Gino's, Tony Luke's? The best alternative is DiNic's at the Reading Terminal Market. Choose between sandwiches of lean brisket or Italian and traditional pork on a crusty roll ... with options for provolone, "greens" (broccoli rabe), long-hot peppers and horseradish that will cure stuffy sinuses. Arrive before 11:45am or after 1:15pm to avoid lines. Hope for seats at the counter, where service and people watching are equally great.

This place is foodie heaven! Spent half a day eating through this market and returned a second time it was so great- amazing sandwiches at Dinics (roast pork with peppers and au jus), great homestyle cooking at The Dutch Eating Place (got the chicken and dumplings and blueberry pancakes that we all split), and great coffee at Old City Coffee. The best of the best for us at least was Beiler's Hand Rolled Donuts. Hands down best donuts. There is definitely something for everyone though!

This site fits well under both restaurant and attraction. It is a sight to behold with the hustle and bustle of activity. There are numerous eateries in this indoor market, with a range of cuisines. You can find an acceptable choices for your budget and taste. The place smells wonderful with the range of foods cooking. Expect long lines during lunch at the most popular restaurants.
