“Now This is a Must Location: Don't Miss!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2012

Our second visit to Philly in 4 years and on both occasions a visit to Reading Terminal Market was a highlight. Its an extraordinarily rich and bustling place- with a massive variety of eateries (fat too many to sample0 and some excellent fresh produce, fruit and vegetable outlets selling at VERY GOOD prices. If you want to do some self catering during your visit to philadelphia- this is THE place to go to buy excellent fruit, vegies, breads, cheeses and so on. This is a very busy, tremendously crowded place but its also a real gem, a treasure

“Don't miss it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 16, 2012

I loved the Reading Terminal Market! There something for every taste : food (meals), coffee, chocolate, pastries, bread, cheese, fresh vegetables and fruits, fish and seafood, and, also, crafts. It is busy and there is a lot of atmosphere. Don't miss it!

“great place to get meats, cheeses, groceries, sticky buns and have breakfasts!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

a food lover's paradise--can buy small amounts of things just for sampling! This is where I got to sample Gloucester, Cotswold, and other foreign cheeses! I also discovered habeneros there. The sticky buns are so incredibly good--I always buy a tray, refrigerate it, and have sticky buns during the week!

“Nom nom nom !”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

The BEST. I was in Philly for a convention. Ate almost every meal here. And everything was GREAT! The best was the LIttle Thai stand (get the salmon curry) and Mezza. The pizza cheese steak at Carmen's is the bomb and so is Bassett's rich and creamy ice cream. When you are stuffed you can walk around and look at the crafts, book and herb stores. It can get very crowded, might try to eat just outside of peak times. But don't wait too long, they close at 6pm :(

“Foodie heaven”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 14, 2012

This is were foodies go to die. Crowded in the weekends, but everything else would amaze me. If you need something exotic or local, you'll find it, but you'll probably also bring stuff home you didn't knew beforehand. The local farmers and dairies really bring the goods to the market.
