“Top Notch Breakfast Joint”
Reviewed February 10, 2014

Loved the feel and vibe of this place. Packed with hungry folk, the menu does not disappoint. The breakfast selections have something for every taste from hangover fare to healthy smoothies. Huge portions cooked fresh and sourced locally. Great service from friendly servers. Cool artsy atmosphere. Everything you want in a neighborhood restaurant. Locally owned and operated, what more could you ask for!

“Nice casual place for good food.”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

We were looking for a restaurant in the Rittenhouse Square area of Philly that wasn't too expensive and we could get a reservation. We found this place through Open Table and it was very good. Nice atmosphere, good food. They have a $20.00 special where you get salad or soup, entree (3 selections - meatloaf being one of them) and dessert. My husband got the salad, meatloaf and rice pudding. All very good. I had the chicken noodle soup, and bruschetta sandwich which was tasty. All this for under $40.00. (We didn't have any drinks so that helped). I would definitely go back again.

“Dinner for two”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

Last minute decision to eat out and chose it for close proximity to where we were staying. Very pleased with our choice. Food was good, nice atmosphere. Lots of families probably due to reasonable prices and wholesome food. Would go again....husband did with our grandson.

“Good place for casual dinner”
Reviewed January 11, 2014

The food from this restaurant is locally produced to help the community around Philadelphia (and reduce transportation costs). It also tasted good. The waiters do not seem to be that well organized (forgot to bring one of our drinks) and generally seem to walk around randomly. Several tables around us were families with children, which gives the place a casual rather than formal atmosphere.

We ate at Marathon with 2 families of 4. Great selection for everyone and their drink menu was a hit with the adults!
