I have been to the Rittenhouse location as well as the South Street location. Rittenhouse definitely wins, although South Street has WAY more space (which is a plus). The service I had at South Street was AWFUL. Our server came to our table literally once. Someone else brought drinks out to us (which is fine), but she came over to take our order and was not friendly. We never saw her again. Never got refills. Never saw her again. It was weird. Rittenhouse was a good experience. Just a little more cramped.

Spaghetti and meatballs. The pizzas going by to other diners looked great, but they couldn't have been any better than the outrageously tasty eggplant parm. Companion liked her spaghetti too, but the eggplant was truly special. Reasonable prices for the neighborhood.

This place is always busy, but it's worth the wait. I think it is as good as any coal oven pizzeria in NYC.

We loved the food and the service. Will definitely visit again when in Philly. The manager was very in tuned with what was going on in the restaurant. He made sure it was flawless.

The pizza is uniformly terrific (especially the hot pesto). Pastas are good to great (alla vodka!). The rice ball appetizer is wonderful and the salads are large. I like to sit up front when they open the windows and let the fresh air in. Service is always efficient and friendly. Our 8 and 10 year granddaughters loved it!
