“Perfect selection in the museum district”
Reviewed August 24, 2013 via mobile

We started with Caesar Salad which was perfectly dressed. I selected the bolognese pasta which had complex flavors (beef and sausage) and a very light weight noodle. Healthy portion! My husband ordered the crab caked served over a spicy corn relish. Our friends split the scallops. Everyone was pleased. As is our tradition with our friends, we split a couple if desserts. By far, the warm brownie served with ice cream kicked the peach cobbler! Definitely with a visit after the museums.

“Lovely dinner post Parkway museum visit”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

We have eaten there twice following visits to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and also the Barnes Foundation, both located on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway nearby. If you are looking to cap off your afternoon of culture with a lovely meal, this is the place. The ambience is very unusual and inviting -- lots of green vegetation, iron railing, and light strings, The service is excellent but it is important to make a reservation as everytime I have been there, it is very busy. The portions are fresh, tasty and healthy. During my latest visit, I had the scrumptious salmon with crab -- delish. I shared a pasta appetizer with a delectable cream sauce. The experience was a delightful one. Additionally, unlike center city Philadelphia, street parking is often available.

“Always a home run!”
Reviewed August 8, 2013

The food is excellent. The mixed drinks are exquisite. The atmosphere is lovely. There were 3 of us and we ordered appetizers and entrees. Everything was great. Coffee was a bit weak. That's my only complaint. Dessert was also great.

Very hip, friendly service, good beers, good crab cakes. Funky neighborhood. You won't be overwhelmed by the food, but you will enjoy it.

“A hidden find.”
Reviewed July 19, 2013 via mobile

The ride was difficult and the parking atrocious, but worth it! After staring with a wonderful cocktail, we indulged in homemade pasta. Yummmm. Everything on the menu was fabulous.
