“Wonderful Italian Restaurant in South Phili”
Reviewed July 26, 2013

A group of us when to Ralph's for my Aunt's birthday when we were visiting Philadelphia. We went on a Friday night and had a later reservation. We were all hungry after a day of touring Phili and called to move up the reservation. They were able to make the change with no problem. The food and drinks were amazing. You must have desert. The cannoli cake is unbelievable. Service was ok our busboy was amazing our waiter was MIA, but the busboy more than made up for it. This was a memorable birthday for my Aunt thanks in part to Ralph's. Overall, if you are looking for great food in a classic Italian restaurant try Ralph's.

“"Yous is da first to arrive!"”
Reviewed July 24, 2013

My husband and I had dinner here with cousins who grew up in South Philly. When 4 of us out of the 6 arrived , the man at the door said ( in perfect South Philly vernacular) "Yous is da first to arrive" We just loved it. The whole place smells like grandmom's house on Sunday morning with the gravy cooking on the stove. We had the best time! The food was fantastic. Our waiter couldn't do enough for us. He looked like a young Rodney Dangerfield. What a nice young man! I wish I had asked what the name was of their house Pinot Noir, it was lovely. It was lovely.

“Italian Heaven”
Reviewed July 16, 2013

This restaurant has ruined my love affair with pasta. I will never be able to eat pasta at another Italian restaurant and find it enjoyable. This is the restaurant by which all other Italian restaurants should judge themselves. Pasta was perfect, gravy savory and sweet, meatballs the best ever! The best soup on earth can be found here and it is called 7 bean Italian. And only $8.00 valet parking. We will definitely be back here. We may even take a trip to Philly just to eat here.

“A South Philly Icon”
Reviewed July 14, 2013 via mobile

Old time pasta house- over a hundred years old. Food is excellent and service attentive. Parking is brutal but there is valet. The atmosphere is great- big ding rooms- almost the feel of a big family gathering. Not fancy but old school.
